Glenn Arthur Davis was born on August 4, 1947. On July 10, 2020 he departed thisworld and entered into the Heavenly Kingdom. Glenn was one of 3 children born tothe late Edward and Ruth Davis. Glenn was united in marriage to his beloved wife of41 years, Noreen Morris Davis on April 1, 1979. Glenn was blessed with 3 daughters,Valerie Davis, Trachelle Davis Morton (Charles) and Leslie Davis Trufant (Tyrone); 3grandchildren, Tyrone Jr., Ashton and Kechaunta. He was a life-long resident of NewOrleans (specifically Algiers), LA and a graduate of L.B. Landry High School.A loving and faithful man of God, Glenn accepted Christ as his Lord and personalSavior on April 9, 1979.Glenn retired from the Orleans Parish School System in 1997. After his retirement heenjoyed spending much more quality time with his family and helping family andfriends with their many "around the house" building and construction projects. If hecame to your house and saw something that needed to be fixed, he would just startfixing it without you asking. That's just the type of person he was.He is preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Ruth Davis; his paternal andmaternal grandparents; his father and mother-in-law George and Lorraine Morris; hisbrothers-in-law Roland Brown, Edward Williams, and Elbert Morris; his nephew RonKeith Brown; his niece, Kelei Morris; and other uncles, aunts, cousins and friends.He leaves to mourn his loss and cherish his memories his loving and devoted wife,Noreen Morris Davis; his daughters, Valerie Davis, Trachelle Davis Morton, and LeslieDavis Trufant; his sons-in-law Charles Morton and Tyrone Trufant; his grandchildrenTyrone Jr., Ashton and Kechaunta; his sisters Joan Marie Davis Brown and JanetDavis Williams; his sisters-in-law, Terri, Rose and Waion Morris, Helena Johnson andMonique Berringer; his brothers-in-law, George, III, Michael and Kent Morris,Chatman Johnson and Terry Berringer; his uncle Wilfred Brown; his aunts ValerieBailey, Yvonne Vancourt and Leah Callens as well as a host of nieces, nephews,aunts, uncles cousins, and other relatives and friends.He will truly be missed but his love will live on in everyone that knew him.
