Clinton Thomas King "King", of Amite, LA passed away at home with his family by his side on Friday, November 3, 2017. He was born on May 15, 1949 in Carthage, Mississippi to Carl and Sarrah King. King enjoyed life and loved hunting, fishing, running rabbit dogs, antiquing, junking as he would say, crabbing, playing cards and telling a good joke, but more than anything, he loved and enjoyed spending time with his family. As always he never said goodbye, he would always just say "Love". King is survived by the loving wife of 29 years, Linda Ann, his sons Austin King and his wife Ginger, CJ King and his wife Courtney and Cody King, his daughter, Sarah Ann "Girlie" King, his grandchildren, Addison, Aidyn, Brentlea and Mattie Ann King, his brother, Talmadge "Sonny" King and his wife Sue, his sister Elizabeth Cormier and also many nieces, nephews and close friends. King was preceded in death by his parents Carl and Sarrah King and bother in law Norman Cormier. A Visitation for King will be held on Monday, November 6, 2017 from 10:00am - 12:00pm at Friendship Baptist Church in Amite. A Funeral Service Celebrating King's Life will immediately follow visitation at 12:00pm at the church. Interment will follow at the Friendship Baptist Church Cemetery in Amite.
