I have fought a good fight; I have finished my course; I kept the faith. II Timothy 4:7 Elder Cleo Williams was born on February 21, 1954 in Independence, LA. He was born to Georgia Lee and the late Monroe Williams, Sr. He peacefully ascended from his earthly home and entered his heavenly rest Tuesday morning, November 1, 2016. He was married to his loving and devoted wife, Lillie Daniels Williams for 25 years. They raised two children Timothy Tyrone Jenkins, Sr., and Jasmine Daniels Reid. He began his relationship with Christ at an early age, at Roseland Church of God in Christ, under the leadership of Elder W. L. Wilbon. He later began his ministry under the leadership of Supt. Alonzo Richardson. He worked diligently with the children of the community as youth pastor of Faith, Hope, and Charity Mission. Elder Cleo Williams answered God's call to establish and pastor Emmanuel House of Prayer Church of God in Christ in Amite, LA. He had a special place in his heart for children, the disabled, and the disadvantaged. He also served as the Evangelist President of District 9 under the leadership of Superintendent Daniel Muse. Pastor Cleo Williams believed in the power of God to change lives at all times. Pastor Cleo Williams leaves to cherish his memories: His loving wife, Lillie Daniels Williams, His mother Evangelist Georgia Lee Williams, his son Timothy Tyrone Jenkins, Sr. (Dorothy) and his daughter Jasmine Daniels-Reid (Alan). He was preceded in death by his father Monroe Williams, Sr., his sister Irene Williams, grandson, Alan Reid, Jr., and paternal and maternal grandparents.
