Frank Allen Perry

The Angel of the Lord has visited once again and chosen from among one of our best on Wednesday, August 28, 2024, at 6:49 am. Frank Allen Perry fondly known as “Frank, Allen or Phillip” was called from his earthly home to Heaven’s Reward from St. Helena Nursing Home in Greensburg, LA Bro. Frank was born on August 17, 1957 to the late Frank Perry and Lillie B, McCarter Perry “MaDea” at Lallie Kemp Charity Hospital in Independence, LA. He was reared in a loving Christian home where he always had a good sense of humor and enjoyed his sisters and brother, The apple of his eye was his only child, “Meka” who gave him two beautiful grand daughters whom he loved and admired till his untimely passing. Brother Frank, became a member of McMichael AME Church in Shiloh, LA, at an early age, under the leadership of the late Rev. Alex Spears. Brother Frank attended Westside Elementary School and graduated from Amite High School in Amite, LA in May of 1975, He was an avid band member in the Warrior Marching Band. He furthered his education at Southern University in Baton Rouge, LA Frank continued his career as a cross-country truck driver until he retired. He loved and had a deep passion and commitment to his profession. He was proud and exemplified excellency. Bro. Frank Allen Perry leaves to cherish his memory: one daughter, Shimeka Lashun Perry of Independence, LA; two sisters: Helen P. Jones of Amite, LA and Rev. Doris P. Bean of Independence, LA; two brothers, Michael Perry, Sr. of Jackson, LA and Floyd Woods of Amite, LA, two granddaughters, Breyona & Brittany Jones, both of Independence, LA, one uncle, Charles McCarter of Independence, LA, a God sister, Teresa Preston of Baton Rouge, LA and a God son, Donald Pennington of Olive Branch, MS; three special cousins, Audrey Whitfield & Mary Ricks Mason of Baton Rouge, LA and Ada Robinson of Kenner, LA, and nephew Bobbie D. Cyprain, Jr. of Independence. LA and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.“There are no goodbyes for us, you will always be in our hearts” He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Audrey Mae Cyprian-Jackson
